Dr. Fresé received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and interned at the Salt Lake City VA Health Care System. He is the Study Coordinator and therapist for the NIH/NINR funded "Treatment of Pain and Fear in Irritable Bowel Syndrome" study at the Center for Neurobiology of Stress. His research interests include cognitive behavioral therapy outcome, exposure therapy, the interactions between the digestive system and the autonomic nervous system, the effects of stress on the body, and integrative mind-body medicine in functional gastrointestinal disorders.
